Retail Sales Associate

We are looking to add positive and passionate sales associates to our team! We are a small, local business that prides itself on being a destination for people who love their furry family members and want to give those pets everything they need to live a happy and healthy life. A big part of what we do relies on having a staff that is willing to go the extra mile for our customers and who truly enjoy helping cats and dogs live their best lives. This position is a different kind of retail position than most. Every customer interaction is unique to that owner and their pet which makes for a fun, challenging, and rewarding job. Skills needed to succeed:

Great customer service

Comfort level with all types of cats & dogs

Retail sales experience

Selling skills

Willingness to learn the product knowledge needed to assist customers and be engaged in the training process

Visual merchandising

Ability to multi-task (sales floor, register, stocking, cleaning, etc.)

Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds frequently

Abie to spend most of your shift on your feet

Able to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly, bend, squat, twist and lift

Honest, dependable, hard-working, outgoing, personable, and prompt

Current business hours:

Monday - Saturday 10-7

Sunday 11-5

All full time & part time employees will need to work full days (part time is 2+ full days)

Full time employees will need to work either a Saturday or Sunday every week

Availability November – December, especially around the holidays, is required

Closed: Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Year’s Day

Close early: July 4th, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve
